aCROnordic ApS was incorporated in 2011 as a spin off of aCROnordic A/S after a successful completion of our first project as a Research Clinic.
From 2012 aCROnordic has developed a comprehensive set of data conversion tools to support the FDA demand for standardized clinical and non-clinical data made effective by December 2016 for NDA submissions and in December 2017 for IND submissions.
In 2015 aCROnordic started to collaborate with Data Standards decision, which are internationally recognized experts in the non-clinical data standard SEND.
The idea of an eCRO started with a phase 1 study planned, conducted and reported though the use of freelance resources in the aCROnordic Research Clinic, using a new cloud-based infrastructure. The study took place in 2013 and provided a number of insights about the challenges involved in creating an eCRO.
In 2014 aCROnordic moved to Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform, which has provided substantial benefits in terms of security, scalability, management and economy. In 2016, aCROnordic received a 2 year Microsoft BizSpark+ sponsorship, which has enabled aCROnordic to develop the cloud solution even further.
aCROnordic have partner agreements with the IT provider – Microsoft Corporation, Oracle Corporation and SAS Institute – on which platforms, we have developed our toolbox. As one spin-off, we offer a SAS solution the Cloud, used in our own services, to CROs or other organizations, who wants a globally available SAS installation preconfigure on Azure.
